The area is cleared, graded, and compacted to create a stable subgrade. Forms are set to the correct dimensions and elevation.

Rebar or wire mesh is placed per spec. Concrete is poured, spread, and struck off to the form height, then floated and finished to your desired surface texture.

A proper cure is applied to protect the fresh concrete. Forms are stripped after adequate cure time and the site is cleaned up.

It depends on the intended use. A standard residential patio or walkway is typically 4" thick. Driveways are usually 4"–6". Shop floors and areas subject to vehicle or heavy equipment loads typically call for 5"–6" or more with rebar. We'll recommend the right thickness for your project.
Both add tensile strength to concrete. For light-duty residential flatwork, wire mesh may be sufficient. For driveways, shop floors, and areas carrying significant loads, rebar is the stronger choice. We'll specify the right reinforcement for your application.
Central Texas is famous for its expansive black-clay soils, which swell when wet and shrink when dry. This movement puts stress on slabs that aren't properly supported. Proper subgrade preparation, adequate thickness, and control joints all help minimize cracking.
Yes. We regularly pour slabs for metal buildings, shops, and barns. We work from your building specs to ensure the slab dimensions, anchor bolt placement, and thickness meet the building manufacturer's requirements.
